Responsible Gambling
Play for fun
Gambling should be entertainment, never a way to make money or a source of stress. Set a budget before you start, accept that losses happen and take regular breaks.
Adults only
You must be 18 or over to open an account. We check ages, may ask for ID at any time and close any account that belongs to someone under 18. If children use your device, filtering software helps keep gambling sites out of reach, and your login details should stay private.
Tools you can use
- Deposit limits: choose a daily, weekly or monthly cap. Lowering it works straight away, while raising it is reviewed first.
- Cooling-off: close your account for a short break, during which you cannot log in.
- Self-exclusion: close your account for the period you choose. Marketing stops, the exclusion cannot be cancelled early, and any request to return afterwards is reviewed carefully.
Signs to take a break
Think about pausing if you spend more than you planned, chase losses, feel tense about your play, use money meant for bills or notice gambling affecting your sleep, mood or relationships. A short self-check, such as asking whether you have felt you should cut down or felt guilty about gambling, can help you decide.
Getting help
Free, confidential support is available from independent organisations such as Gamblers Anonymous. If we notice big changes in how you play, we may get in touch and suggest limits or a break. Our support team can help you set limits, take a break or request a self-exclusion form at any time.
